Introduction

PLP Group is seeking a reliable and professional Concierge Driver to join our team in Century City, Western Cape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and timely deliveries, collections, and passenger transport on behalf of our clients and Concierge members โ€” ensuring world-class service delivery and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Deliveries & Collections

-Collect and deliver goods, packages, materials, or documents as requested by the Concierge Desk or Call Centre.

-Ensure all delivery documentation (waybills, receipts, invoices, or cash payments) is accurate and handed in promptly.

-Maintain clear communication with clients and Concierge Agents regarding delivery progress or any delays.

-Load and unload all goods safely at both collection and delivery points.

-Complete all assigned delivery and collection tasks within specified time frames.

Transport Services

-Transport passengers for contracted clients when required.

-Ensure customer safety, comfort, and satisfaction during travel.

-Interact courteously with customers and obtain signatures or receipts upon delivery.

Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance

-Conduct daily vehicle inspections, ensuring that the company car/scooter is in perfect working condition.

-Perform basic maintenance when necessary (e.g., changing a tyre).

-Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

-Record mileage, petrol usage, and report service schedules or repairs to the Concierge Manager.

-Always adhere to road safety regulations and company driving standards.

General Support

  • Assist with ad hoc duties when required.
  • Represent the PLP Group brand with professionalism, punctuality, and integrity.

Minimum Requirements

–Matric (Grade 12).

–Valid South African Driverโ€™s License (minimum 2 years of driving experience).

-Clean driving record and drug/alcohol-free.

-Working cell phone and good eyesight.

-Physically fit and able to lift heavy boxes or packages.

-Strong knowledge of local routes and ability to use GPS systems.

-Presentable, punctual, and customer-focused.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
