Overview
An opportunity is available for three Couriers across Rustenburg and Welkom. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of specimens, reports, goods and other items while providing professional customer service.
The role requires responsible drivers who can plan delivery routes, handle sensitive items safely and ensure that all collections and deliveries reach their destinations on time and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
– Check assigned tasks for scheduled collections and deliveries and plan appropriate routes.
– Collect and deliver specimens from laboratories, doctors, clients and other designated locations.
– Ensure specimens, reports and other goods reach the correct destination safely and on time.
– Complete and sign proof-of-delivery documentation where applicable.
– Scan specimens and results on the Courier Management Programme to allow deliveries and collections to be tracked.
– Maintain accurate records relating to collections and deliveries.
– Safeguard company assets such as vehicles, petrol cards, uniforms and equipment.
– Report vehicle or equipment faults promptly.
– Use appropriate protective equipment when handling specimens and other potentially hazardous materials.
– Follow all applicable health and safety procedures.
– Complete incident and accident reports and submit them to management when required.
– Maintain company vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition.
– Report spills involving hazardous materials and follow the required safety procedures.
– Provide professional and courteous service to clients at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or a relevant NQF Level 4 qualification (N3).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Valid Code 8/B driver’s licence.
- Code A driver’s licence.
- PDP will be an added advantage.
- Must be willing and able to work different shifts and at different depots.

- 2โ3 years of relevant working experience is required.
