Overview
Tswana Gas, a trusted energy provider, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Field Assistant/General Assistant to join its team in Serowe. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day stock handling operations, ensuring proper inventory management, clean working environments, and efficient loading and offloading of materials. This position is physically demanding and suited to someone with a strong work ethic and team spirit.
Key Responsibilities
-Conduct regular stock takes and ensure accurate inventory records.
-Assist in the loading and offloading of gas cylinders and related stock for deliveries and returns.
-Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the yard and storage facilities.
-Handle and store all materials safely and appropriately to prevent damage or loss.
-Support field operations and general tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
-Prior experience in stock handling, warehousing, or a similar operational role is an advantage.
-Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and prolonged standing.
-Basic knowledge of inventory and stock control processes.
-Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
-Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to task completion.
-Punctual, dependable, and displays a strong work ethic.
