Overview
The President Hotel is seeking an experienced and professional Hotel Receptionist to join its Front Office team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
– Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and billing using OPERA PMS.
– Provide friendly, professional, and personalised guest service at all times.
– Work closely with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
– Maintain accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail during busy periods.
Requirements & Skills
-Matric (Grade 12).
-Minimum 2 yearsโ experience as a Hotel Receptionist in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
-Strong working knowledge of OPERA PMS (essential).
-Experience with reservations, billing, and front desk operations.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Professional appearance and strong organisational ability.
-Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
-Valid South African ID or work permit.
