Overview
Pedros and Yogiberry are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashiers to join their growing restaurant teams across multiple locations. These opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
– Take customer orders accurately at the counter, drive-thru, or collection point.
– Process cash and card payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
– Ensure food and beverages are served correctly and on time.
– Maintain cleanliness of counters, dining areas, and service stations.
– Restock packaging, sauces, cups, napkins, and other service items.
– Follow company food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
– Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient order preparation.
– Resolve basic customer queries and escalate concerns when necessary.
– Support daily restaurant operations as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) is advantageous.
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is beneficial.
- Basic cash handling and POS system knowledge.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
