Overview
The City of Tshwane is looking for a reliable and responsible Messenger to join its Management and Administrative Support section at Lesedi House.
The successful candidate will provide an efficient messenger service by collecting, delivering, sorting and distributing mail, documents, parcels, files and other official items within and outside the City of Tshwane.
This is an opportunity for candidates with a minimum Grade 10 qualification who can read, write and communicate effectively and are capable of working independently.
Key Responsibilities
– Collect mailbags from the post office.
– Post official letters and other correspondence.
– Collect and deliver documents between City of Tshwane offices.
– Distribute documents to the relevant departments and officials.
– Deliver mail and parcels to external destinations when required.

– Deliver and collect mail from the Postal Bureau.
– Sort outgoing files and prepare them for distribution.
