Overview
Ster-Kinekor is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join its team as Multi Skilled Employees at Somerset Mall. This role offers the opportunity to work across different cinema operations, including ticket sales, food and beverage service, customer assistance, and general cinema support.
The successful candidate will help create an exceptional cinema experience by delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist customers with ticket sales, food and beverage purchases, and general enquiries.
– Work across different cinema areas including Box Office, Catering, Collections, Cinema Assistance, Waiter services, and Popcorn preparation.
– Promote current promotions, products, and cinema offerings to customers.
– Prepare popcorn, slush beverages, and other food items according to company quality standards.
– Ensure all promotional displays, posters, signage, and marketing materials are current and well presented.
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness in food preparation areas, kitchens, equipment, and customer service areas.
– Store food products correctly and ensure quality standards are maintained.
– Assist with shift preparation and daily operational tasks.
– Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
– Wear the correct uniform and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
– Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 0โ1 year of experience in a customer service, retail, hospitality, or similar role.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office).
- Knowledge of VISTA or MYCC systems will be an advantage.
