Overview
Caxton & CTP Publishers and Printers is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Packers to join the production team at the Epping facility. The role involves ensuring products are sorted, packed, and prepared according to company standards while maintaining quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Pack products according to company specifications and standards
– Ensure items are correctly labelled and coded for tracking
– Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging
– Assist machine operators where required
– Maintain a clean and organised work area
– Perform basic troubleshooting and safely clear minor equipment jams
– Support stock control and inventory processes
– Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
– Meet production targets and deadlines
– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum Grade 10 (Grade 12 advantageous)
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and recording stock
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime
