Overview:

Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital is inviting qualified and motivated individuals to apply for four (4) Pharmacy Technician positions. The successful candidates will support pharmaceutical operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective dispensing of medications and pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in the preparation, packaging, and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.

-Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, stock levels, and patient medication history.

-Receive, label, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies according to standard protocols.

-Monitor and manage stock levels, expiry dates, and inventory in accordance with hospital procedures.

-Support medication counseling and provide information to patients regarding usage and storage.

-Ensure compliance with infection control, occupational health, and safety guidelines within the pharmacy.

-Participate in periodic stock-taking and audits.

-Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy work environment.

-Comply with hospital and regulatory policies, including ethical and professional standards.

Minimum Requirements:

–Diploma in Pharmacy Technology

-Must be registered with the Lesotho Medical and Pharmacy Council as a Pharmacy Technician

-Must be computer literate and able to use basic pharmacy software and inventory systems
