Overview
The Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA), a DHET-registered and CHE-accredited private higher education provider, is seeking a professional and service-oriented Receptionist to join the Durban campus. This role supports front office operations and plays a vital part in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
-Greet and attend to students, staff, and visitors professionally
-Receive and transfer internal and external telephone calls
-Provide administrative support and assist with coordinating events
-Distribute internal mail and assist with ad hoc duties as required
-Support student services by handling walk-in queries effectively
-Maintain inventory control for School of Education (SOE) and Business, Commerce & Law (BCL)
Requirements and Skills
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or administrative role
Skills and Knowledge:
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
-Brand and product awareness
-Strong communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal)
-Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
