Overview
Orion Group is seeking an experienced Security Guard to join its team in Mbombela (Nelspruit). This opportunity is ideal for a reliable and professional security officer with retail security experience who is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities
– Protect company property, employees, customers, and visitors.
– Monitor access to the premises and control entry and exit points.
– Conduct routine security patrols and inspections.
– Prevent theft, vandalism, and other security incidents.
– Respond promptly to emergencies and security-related situations.
– Report incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches to management.
– Ensure compliance with company security procedures and policies.
– Maintain accurate security records and incident reports.
– Provide professional customer service while carrying out security duties.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) will be advantageous.
- Valid PSIRA Grade C registration (essential).
- Minimum of 3 years’ security experience, preferably in the retail sector.
- Good employment and performance record.
- Must be available to start immediately.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
