Job Opportunity

Transnet is recruiting 4 Senior Service Drivers (Code 10 with PDP) to provide safe and efficient transport services for TEW staff and operations within the Ermelo Area (Saaivater).

Job Purpose

To provide a safe, efficient and economical driving service for Transnet Track Engineering Works personnel.

---

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees safely to and from work sites

• Maintain vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections

• Report defects, damages and maintenance issues

• Complete fuel records and driving logs

• Submit fuel slips and trip documentation

• Ensure compliance with road traffic regulations

• Drive responsibly and professionally at all times

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

Additional Requirements

• Driver assessment will be conducted before appointment

• Good knowledge of road regulations

• Vehicle care and maintenance knowledge

• Good communication skills

• Ability to read maps and plan routes

• Strong attention to detail
