Overview

CODE is recruiting 4 Shop Assistant/Cashier positions across its stores in Sebokeng Thabong and Malekane. This opportunity is ideal for customer-focused individuals who are passionate about retail, fashion, and delivering excellent shopping experiences.

Successful candidates will assist customers, process sales, replenish stock, maintain attractive store displays, and support the daily operations of the store while helping achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

– Process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system.

– Assist customers with product selection and recommend suitable items.

– Replenish stock and ensure merchandise is available on the sales floor.

– Maintain neat visual merchandising displays and accurate pricing.

– Support the Store Manager with daily operational activities.

– Ensure store equipment is properly secured and maintained.

– Follow all health and safety procedures.

– Work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

– Assist with stock control and initiatives to minimise stock losses.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• At least 1 year of experience in a retail or similar environment.
• Computer literacy.
• Customer service experience will be an advantage.
