Overview

VKB Group is currently recruiting a Shop Assistant for its VKB Retail division in Bethlehem, Free State.

The successful candidate will assist with customer service, stock handling, merchandise presentation, and maintaining a clean and organised retail environment. This opportunity is ideal for hardworking individuals who enjoy working with customers and supporting daily retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist customers with product enquiries and loading assistance.
– Receive, move, unpack, and pack stock safely and accurately.
– Ensure shelves and stock displays are neat, organised, and replenished.
– Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the store and depot.
– Support daily operational activities and general retail duties.
– Ensure a safe working environment and follow company procedures.
– Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.

Requirements & Skills

-Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
-Experience in a retail or depot environment will be advantageous.
-Knowledge of Johnson’s clothing products will be beneficial.
-Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
-Willing to work weekends and public holidays according to the roster.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Customer-service orientated with a positive attitude.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Clear criminal record.
