Overview:
Express Employment Professionals Fourways is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to operate 5–8 ton trucks for nationwide delivery and collection of goods. The successful candidate will play a key role in the efficient transport of goods, while ensuring road safety compliance and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

-Operate 5–8 ton truck safely and efficiently across South Africa

-Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

-Deliver and collect goods as per scheduled routes and timelines

-Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and documentation

-Comply with traffic regulations and company safety protocols

-Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers

-Assist with manual loading and offloading of goods when needed

-Report vehicle issues or incidents immediately

Minimum Requirements:

-Valid Code 10 Driver’s License

-Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

-2–3 years’ experience driving 5–8 ton trucks

-Clean driving record with no serious violations

-Familiarity with South African road networks and routes

-Ability to read and interpret delivery notes and route instructions

-Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Basic knowledge of truck maintenance

-Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

-Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
