Overview:
Sundowner Placement Solutions is recruiting Truck Drivers and Shuttle Bus Drivers for exciting two-year contract opportunities in Ireland. Successful candidates will work for a reputable international logistics and transport provider, with full relocation support including visa and work permit arrangements.
Truck Driver Responsibilities:
-Transport, deliver, and retrieve various construction and heavy equipment
-Operate commercial/non-commercial vehicles safely and professionally
-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
-Maintain delivery logs and required documentation
-Secure loads using chains, straps, and other safety measures in accordance with DOT regulations
-Navigate varied terrains, traffic conditions, and weather challenges
-Communicate with dispatch and branch managers for schedule updates
-Report accidents, delays, or incidents promptly
-Provide basic training or customer support when required
Shuttle Bus Driver Responsibilities:
-Drive modern shuttle buses safely and professionally
-Deliver outstanding customer service and assist passengers as needed
-Work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays
-Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure all systems are operational
Minimum Requirements (Both Roles):
-Valid South African Driverโs Licence (Code C1 or EC)
-Valid South African Passport
-Fluent in English (verbal and written)
-Clear criminal record
-Willingness to relocate and adapt to international work schedules
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Salary: To be discussed during the interview process
