Overview

Truworths is looking for a creative and passionate Visual Merchandiser to join its Kimberley store. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for fashion, colour, and presentation who can create attractive merchandise displays that enhance the customer shopping experience while supporting sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

– Create and maintain attractive in-store and window displays in line with company standards.

– Ensure all display areas are clean, organised, and visually appealing.

– Implement visual merchandising guidelines and promotional campaigns.

– Keep up to date with current fashion trends, promotions, and product launches.

– Assist customers and colleagues with product and display-related enquiries.

– Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout display areas.

– Support store safety and security procedures.

– Work closely with the store team to achieve merchandising and sales objectives.

– Participate in ongoing training and apply new merchandising techniques.

Requirements

• Previous experience in visual merchandising or a similar retail role will be an advantage.
• Ability to understand and follow visual merchandising implementation guidelines.
• Passion for fashion and retail.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift merchandise, bend, stretch, and move displays when required.
