Overview
Marriott International is recruiting Guest Experience Experts (Receptionists / Front Desk Agents / Guest Services Agents) across multiple hotels in South Africa. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and creating memorable guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
You will be responsible for ensuring guests receive a seamless, friendly, and professional service throughout their stay while representing the brand at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out
– Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
– Handle guest requests, queries, and complaints professionally
– Process bookings, payments, and administrative tasks accurately
– Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area
– Assist guests with luggage and general support where required
– Ensure smooth communication between departments
– Complete reports and follow hotel procedures and standards
– Uphold high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience (advantageous)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills
- South African citizens only
