Overview

Bidvest Facilities Management is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join their Sandton team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming and organised office environment.

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a positive impression for clients and visitors while supporting daily administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities

– Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner

– Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently

– Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area

– Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services

– Manage bookings for meetings, appointments, and conference rooms

– Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data capturing, and report preparation

– Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication

– Monitor and order office supplies when required

– Arrange catering for meetings and events when necessary

– Follow up with clients and visitors to ensure satisfaction


Requirements & Skills

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Certificate in Reception, Administration, or Customer Service (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Computer literacy (MS Office or similar systems)
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
