4. Housekeeping
The Forklift Driver must ensure the assigned area remains clean, organised and safe.

- Keeping aisles clear of obstacles
- Ensuring customers can enter and leave aisles safely
- Merchandising received stock promptly
- Maintaining correct shelf price labels
- Completing required housekeeping checklists
- Assisting with canteen and toilet/shower schedules where required

Safety and OHSA Requirements

The successful candidate must:
- Never overload the forklift
- Never overload shelving or racking
- Avoid stacking roof tiles, bricks and cement more than two pallets high
- Wear a Safety Helmet and Kidney Belt when operating the forklift
- Never use the forklift to lift personnel
- Keep entrances and exits clear
- Report forklift faults immediately
- Report when the forklift requires servicing
- Wear protective clothing where necessary
- Never operate a mechanically faulty forklift
- Inspect the forklift daily
