Key Responsibilities
Depending on the specific store, duties may include:
– Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
– Take customer orders accurately.
– Process orders received in-store, through drive-thru facilities or for online collection where applicable.
– Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments.
– Apply basic cash-handling procedures accurately.
– Check orders against receipts before handing them to customers.
– Ensure special customer requests are communicated and processed correctly.
– Present food and beverages neatly and according to company standards.
– Work closely with kitchen employees to maintain an efficient flow of orders.
– Ensure customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
– Maintain cleanliness of counters, dining areas and service stations.
– Restock cups, lids, sauces, napkins and other service items.
– Follow required food safety and hygiene procedures.
– Maintain good personal hygiene and professional presentation.
– Assist customers with minor concerns and escalate more serious issues when necessary.
– Support the restaurant team during busy trading periods.
– Perform other reasonable duties according to operational requirements.
