This opportunity is ideal for professional drivers with a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and experience operating both manual and automatic vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
Overview
The successful candidates will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operations within the Distribution Centre (DC).
Applicants should be highly disciplined, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of road safety and vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Vehicle Transportation
โข Safely transport vehicles as required
โข Operate both manual and automatic vehicles
โข Follow all road traffic laws and company procedures
โข Ensure vehicles are handled with care at all times
Vehicle Inspections
โข Conduct daily vehicle inspections
โข Identify and report defects or damages
โข Ensure vehicles are roadworthy before operation
Documentation & Reporting
โข Maintain accurate delivery and collection records
โข Complete required transport documentation
โข Report incidents or vehicle issues promptly
Operational Support
โข Assist around the Distribution Centre (DC) when required
โข Support operational activities as instructed
โข Work effectively with team members and supervisors
Customer Service & Professionalism
โข Provide professional service when interacting with clients and colleagues
โข Maintain a positive and professional attitude
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
โข Grade 12 (Matric)
Driving Experience
โข Minimum of 3โ6 years’ driving experience
โข Automotive industry experience will be advantageous
Licence Requirements
โข Valid South African Code 8 Driver’s Licence
โข Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
โข Vehicle Restriction Code 0
Additional Requirements
โข Clear criminal record (essential)
โข Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
โข Good knowledge of Pretoria, Rosslyn and surrounding areas
โข Own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
โข Willingness to assist within the Distribution Centre
โข Ability to work shifts, weekends and overtime when required
