Overview
Nurture Health is inviting applications for 2 General Worker positions at its rehabilitation hospitals in Beacon Bay and Bloubergstrand. Reporting to the Nursing Manager, successful candidates will assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient healthcare environment that supports quality patient care and rehabilitation services.
This opportunity is ideal for dependable and service-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a healthcare environment and contributing to the well-being of patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform general maintenance and operational support duties within the hospital.
– Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
– Provide driving and transport support when required.
– Report daily activities, maintenance issues, and operational concerns.
– Support hospital operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
– Work closely with healthcare professionals and other departments.
– Participate in training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
– Represent the hospital professionally when interacting with patients, visitors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Worker, Porter, Cleaner, Security Officer, or similar role.
- Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment will be advantageous.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Commitment to professional conduct and workplace safety standards.
