Overview
City of Tshwane is recruiting three General Workers within the Department of Human Settlements. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across rental housing schemes, ensuring a safe and well-kept environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide cleaning services within buildings and housing units.
– Maintain cleanliness of surrounding grounds and outdoor areas.
– Ensure work areas are kept neat, safe, and hygienic at all times.
– Support general maintenance-related cleaning tasks as required.
Requirements & Skills
-Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning duties.
-Good health and physical fitness.
-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
-Previous cleaning experience will be an advantage.
-Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
-Good communication skills.
-Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
