Key Responsibilities
Learnership Participation
โข Attend all structured training sessions
โข Participate in workplace learning activities
โข Complete all assessments and evaluations
โข Successfully complete the learnership programme
Emergency Preparedness
โข Learn firefighting procedures and techniques
โข Participate in emergency response training
โข Develop fire prevention and safety knowledge
โข Gain practical experience in firefighting operations
Workplace Readiness
โข Participate in all workplace readiness programmes
โข Follow safety procedures and company standards
โข Maintain discipline and professionalism
โข Work effectively within emergency response teams
Minimum Requirements
Educational Requirements
Applicants must have a completed National Senior Certificate (Grade 12 / Matric) with passes in:
โข Technical Mathematics, Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
โข English or Business English
โข Technical Science or Physical Science
Driver’s Licence
โข Valid Code B driver’s licence or higher
Age Requirement
โข Must be between 18 and 29 years old
Fitness Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
โข Pass a Fire Fighter Fitness Assessment
โข Pass a Stress and Fear Assessment
โข Work at heights
โข Work in confined spaces
โข Handle exposure to fire environments
โข Climb cat ladders
