Overview
Old Khaki, part of the Cape Union Mart Group, is looking for 4 Sales Assistants to join its retail team across multiple store locations. This opportunity is ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy working with customers, have a passion for fashion and retail, and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service while helping drive store sales.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide friendly and professional customer service.
– Assist customers in selecting products and completing purchases.
– Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
– Process payments accurately, including cash, cards, vouchers, and loyalty rewards.
– Ensure all merchandise is correctly scanned and paid for.
– Maintain high standards of housekeeping and visual merchandising.
– Prevent stock losses by following company stock control procedures.
– Handle customer queries, compliments, and complaints professionally.
– Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
– Support daily store operations as required.
Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Up to 6 months of retail experience.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- South African citizen.
- Willing and able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Advantageous:
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Basic Microsoft Office/computer skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of clothing, fashion, or outdoor lifestyle products.
