Overview
Cape Union Mart is recruiting 7 Sales Assistants across multiple stores in South Africa. This opportunity is ideal for customer-focused individuals who are passionate about retail, outdoor apparel, and delivering exceptional shopping experiences. Successful candidates will assist customers, drive sales, and help maintain high store standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
– Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
– Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
– Identify opportunities to increase sales through product recommendations.
– Maintain excellent housekeeping and visual merchandising standards.
– Prevent stock losses by following company stock control procedures.
– Build strong relationships with customers and promote brand loyalty.
– Support daily store operations as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 months of retail sales experience.
- Clear criminal record.
- Basic Microsoft Office/computer literacy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of clothing, fashion, or outdoor lifestyle products will be an advantage.
- Honest, reliable, and customer-focused.
- Able to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
