Minimum Requirements โ€“ Grants Administrator

Applicants must have:

  • Senior Certificate
  • An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6, recognised by SAQA, in one of the following disciplines:
    • Public Administration
    • Public Management
    • Business Administration
    • Economics
    • Development Studies
    • Finance
    • Accounting
    • Commerce
    • Social Sciences
    • Social Security
    • Law
    • IT
  • Computer literacy

Added Advantage

A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage, except for persons with disabilities.

Grants Administrator Duties

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Providing grant customer-care services
  • Screening grant applications
  • Capturing grant applications
  • Performing beneficiary maintenance functions
  • Administering medical bookings
  • Administering medical assessments
  • Providing off-site grant application services
  • Scanning grant files
  • Batching grant files

This position involves regular interaction with members of the public, so candidates should be comfortable working in a customer-service environment and handling administrative information accurately.
