Job Overview
Clicks is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join its retail team as Shop Assistants/Cashiers.
The successful candidates will deliver excellent customer service, accurately process transactions at the point of sale, maintain merchandising standards, and help create an enjoyable shopping experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
-Operating the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
-Accurately scanning merchandise and processing customer payments.
-Safely handling cash and balancing transactions.
-Promoting and enrolling customers onto the Clicks ClubCard programme.
-Informing customers about promotions, specials, and loyalty rewards.
-Delivering friendly, professional customer service.
-Assisting customers with product information and store enquiries.
-Merchandising shelves according to company standards.
-Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
-Keeping up to date with products, promotions, and company campaigns.
-Supporting the company’s vision of being South Africa’s leading health and beauty retailer.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
Advantage:
- Mathematics (50% or higher)
- English (50% or higher)
Experience
- Previous customer service or retail/FMCG experience is advantageous but not essential.
Is Experience Required?
No.
Retail or customer service experience is desirable but not required. Applicants with Grade 12 and a passion for customer service are encouraged to apply.
