Overview
Absolute Pets, South Africa’s leading specialist pet retailer with more than 190 stores nationwide, is looking for motivated and hardworking Warehouse Assistants to join its warehouse operations across three locations.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and want to build a career with one of South Africa’s fastest-growing retail brands.
Key Responsibilities
– Load delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
– Deliver stock to retail stores according to schedule.
– Ensure the correct products are delivered to the correct store.
– Receive stock from suppliers and verify deliveries.
– Label, sort and pack stock accurately.
– Pick and prepare daily store orders for dispatch.
– Record damaged or defective stock.
– Re-stack and organise warehouse stock to maximise storage space.
– Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
– Assist with stock takes and inventory counts.
– Perform general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience will be advantageous.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move stock.
- Reliable, hardworking and trustworthy.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
