Overview
A cleaning opportunity is available for Cleaners to support daily hygiene and sanitation operations in Centurion. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-organised environments while following proper health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Clean and disinfect floors, surfaces, and work areas
– Sweep, mop, and vacuum to maintain cleanliness
– Empty bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
– Clean restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
– Dust furniture, shelves, and other surfaces
– Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
– Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages
– Maintain and handle cleaning equipment safely
– Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks on time
– Report any hazards, damages, or incidents to supervisors
– Work with the team to ensure consistent cleaning standards
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to work weekends when required
