Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for an Assistant General Worker to provide operational support across site activities. The successful candidate will assist site teams with daily operations, maintenance support, housekeeping duties, and safety compliance while contributing to the achievement of operational goals.
This position is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, safety-conscious, and eager to gain valuable experience in a site operations environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist site teams in achieving daily operational targets and objectives.
– Conduct routine inspections of designated work areas and report hazards or deviations.
– Support pipeline and valve operations under supervision.
– Assist with identifying and resolving operational challenges.
– Carry out general site support duties as assigned.
– Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in work areas.
– Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when performing tasks.
– Comply with all company safety regulations and operational procedures.
– Report incidents, risks, and safety concerns to supervisors.
– Support the safe and efficient running of site operations.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
- Physically, mentally, and medically fit.
- Clear criminal record and successful screening results.
