Overview
Curro Mamelodi is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Worker to join its team from July 2026. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised school environment while supporting daily school operations.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are reliable, practical, and committed to creating a positive learning environment for learners and staff.
Key Responsibilities
– Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and school grounds.
– Assist with basic maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of school facilities.
– Set up venues for meetings, assemblies, events, and school functions.
– Move furniture, equipment, and supplies when required.
– Perform gardening, sweeping, refuse removal, and outdoor cleaning duties.
– Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards to management.
– Provide general operational support to staff and school departments.
– Ensure school facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Driverโs Licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Minimum of 3 yearsโ relevant work experience.
- Ability to perform general maintenance and manual labour tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking.
