Job Opportunity

Vhembe District Municipality is recruiting nine (9) Borehole Operators to assist with the operation and maintenance of municipal boreholes and related water infrastructure.

Overview

The successful candidates will monitor borehole operations, maintain equipment, record water production data and ensure uninterrupted water supply to communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor borehole operations

• Check pumps and electrical equipment

• Record water production figures

• Conduct routine inspections

• Report faults and breakdowns

• Maintain operational records

• Ensure water infrastructure is functioning effectively

• Assist with minor maintenance activities

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10

• Basic understanding of water services operations

• Knowledge of borehole systems will be an added advantage
