Overview
Premier Bakeries is inviting applications for Bread Packers and General Worker Packers (X3 Posts) to join its production teams. These positions play a vital role in ensuring that bakery products are packed efficiently, meet quality standards, and are ready for distribution to customers.
This opportunity is ideal for hardworking individuals who enjoy working in a production environment and can perform well under pressure while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
– Pack bread and bakery products according to company standards.
– Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
– Maintain high product quality at all times.
– Follow food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures.
– Assist with production line operations and packaging activities.
– Conduct basic administration and record-keeping duties.
– Support planned maintenance and care of production equipment.
– Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
– Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
– Report any quality or operational issues to supervisors.
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Previous production or manufacturing experience will be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including day and night shifts.
- Required to work weekends and public holidays according to the shift roster.
- Must be able to work in hot manufacturing and bakery production environments.
- Fast-paced production environment with daily performance targets.
