Overview
Premier Bakeries is recruiting Sales Assistants (X2 Posts) to support its sales and distribution operations. This opportunity is ideal for energetic, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Successful candidates will assist Driver Salesmen with product deliveries, customer service, stock handling, and tray collections while helping to ensure efficient daily operations and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist Driver Salesmen with daily deliveries of bakery products.
– Help load and offload products safely and efficiently.
– Assist with the collection and return of trays from customers.
– Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
– Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
– Support route sales activities and customer service initiatives.
– Assist with stock handling and product management.
– Ensure all company procedures and safety requirements are followed.
– Support the sales team in achieving daily operational targets.
– Perform additional duties as required by management.
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Valid Code 10 Driverโs Licence.
- 1โ2 yearsโ experience in a similar sales, delivery, or FMCG role.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and responsible.
