Overview
Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join its team in Upington. This temporary, shift-based opportunity is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic workplaces while delivering high-quality cleaning services in a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Clean offices, reception areas, toilets, and other workspaces to a high standard.
– Empty waste bins and dispose of refuse correctly.
– Collect recyclable paper waste and prepare it for collection.
– Dust office furniture and surfaces regularly.
– Vacuum carpets and clean floors according to cleaning schedules.
– Clean internal windows on a rotational basis.
– Ensure bathrooms are regularly inspected and cleaned throughout the day.
– Store cleaning equipment and materials safely after use.
– Assist with setting up meeting rooms when required.
– Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and company cleaning standards.
– Use cleaning materials and equipment efficiently and responsibly.
– Provide support with additional cleaning duties as requested.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 11 or equivalent qualification.
- Grade 12 will be an added advantage.
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, office, or similar environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Upington area.
Skills and Competencies
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of general hygiene and cleaning practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, products, and equipment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Understanding of workplace cleaning procedures and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.
