Seriti is recruiting learners interested in becoming qualified Diesel Mechanics through its Engineering Learnership Programme.
Overview
The programme provides structured artisan development training aimed at producing competent Diesel Mechanics for the mining sector.
Requirements
โข Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum E symbol)
OR
โข N2 Certificate with:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Engineering Drawing
- Diesel Trade Theory or Motor Trade Theory
โข Valid K53 Driver’s Licence
โข Able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
โข Willing to work shifts and call-outs
โข No criminal record
Main Responsibilities
โข Participate in practical and theoretical training
โข Assist with servicing and repairing mining equipment
โข Learn diesel engine maintenance procedures
โข Conduct fault-finding under supervision
โข Participate in safety and compliance activities
โข Complete trade assessments and workplace training
Advantageous
โข Mining industry experience
