Seriti is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring artisans to join the Boilermaker Learnership Programme and gain valuable mining industry experience.
Overview
The programme combines formal technical training and practical workplace exposure to develop qualified Boilermakers for the mining industry.
Requirements
โข Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum E symbol)
OR
โข N2 Certificate with:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Plating & Structural Steel Drawing
- Plater Trade Theory
โข Valid K53 Driver’s Licence
โข Certificate of Fitness or ability to obtain one
โข Willingness to work shifts and standby duties
โข No criminal record
Main Responsibilities
โข Participate in artisan development training
โข Assist with fabrication and maintenance activities
โข Learn welding and structural repair techniques
โข Participate in workplace safety programmes
โข Complete practical and theoretical assessments
โข Work towards qualifying as a Trade Tested Boilermaker
Advantageous
โข Previous mining experience
