This opportunity is suitable for candidates interested in lifting, rigging, and engineering support within the mining sector.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science

OR

• N2 Certificate with:
• Mathematics
• Engineering Science
• Engineering Drawing
• Mechanotechnology

• Minimum Symbol E (40%)
• Valid K53 Driver’s Licence
• Able to obtain Certificate of Fitness
• Willing to work shifts, standby and call-outs
• No criminal record

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in rigging trade training
• Assist with lifting and moving equipment safely
• Learn rigging tools and procedures
• Support engineering teams with supervised tasks
• Follow all safety procedures
• Complete learnership assessments
