Smollan is offering an exciting Merchandiser Learnership opportunity for young South Africans looking to gain valuable retail experience.
This 12-month learnership will provide practical workplace training and hands-on exposure to merchandising, stock management, customer service, and visual display techniques within a leading retail environment.

Overview
As a Merchandiser Learner, you will help ensure products are correctly displayed, shelves are fully stocked, pricing is accurate, and customers enjoy an excellent shopping experience.
You will also receive valuable workplace training and practical retail skills that can help launch your career.
Key Responsibilities
โข Count, document, and manage stock levels
โข Unpack and organize products
โข Create attractive product displays
โข Assist with store layout planning
โข Ensure products are correctly priced
โข Remove damaged or expired products
โข Maintain product presentation standards
โข Work with sales and marketing teams
โข Assist customers with product information
โข Respond to customer queries and complaints
โข Maintain cleanliness of the store and storeroom
โข Ensure shelves remain fully stocked
โข Support visual merchandising activities
Requirements
โข South African citizen
โข Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
โข Age between 18 and 35 years
โข Able to communicate in English
โข Must live within 15km of Waterfall, Midrand
โข Clear criminal record
โข Own smartphone
โข Valid ID document
โข SARS Letter
โข Bank Confirmation Letter
โข Must be willing to obtain and use a Vodacom SIM card if successful
