Overview
BUCO and TimberCity are currently recruiting General Assistants (X29 Posts) across multiple branches. These opportunities are ideal for hardworking individuals looking to build a career in the retail and building materials industry.
The successful candidates will support daily store operations by assisting customers, handling stock, maintaining cleanliness, loading and offloading products, and ensuring the smooth running of store activities.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist customers with collecting and loading orders.
– Load and offload stock, materials, and deliveries.
– Pack and organize yard and store stock.
– Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, wash bays, and work areas.
– Assist suppliers and customers with general enquiries.
– Perform wash bay duties where required.
– Support various operational areas of the business as needed.
– Ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
– Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
– Uphold company values, policies, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Basic product knowledge will be advantageous.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
- Ability to work in different areas of the business when required.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking.
