Overview
BCE FoodService Equipment is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Cleaner to join its Head Office team in Roodepoort. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment across offices, showrooms, warehouses, and other company facilities while ensuring high standards of cleanliness at all times.
Key Responsibilities
– Clean offices, showrooms, warehouses, and other designated work areas.
– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
– Empty waste bins and dispose of waste correctly.
– Clean carpets and remove stains where necessary.
– Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely after receiving training.
– Dust and clean furniture, shelves, cupboards, windowsills, and other surfaces.
– Clean restrooms, wash basins, drinking fountains, and replenish consumable supplies.
– Maintain cleanliness in warehouse racking and storage areas.
– Report any cleaning or maintenance concerns to management.
– Assist with additional cleaning duties as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment.
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
- Basic health and safety or first aid knowledge will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
