Overview
RCL Foods is recruiting 2 Maintenance Assistants to support engineering operations within its baking division. Successful candidates will assist artisans with maintenance tasks, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely in line with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist artisans with daily maintenance and repair tasks
– Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
– Ensure machines operate efficiently and minimise downtime
– Clean and lubricate mechanical parts such as shafts, gears, and bearings
– Support machine installations and engineering projects
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed
– Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
– Complete administrative and maintenance documentation accurately
Requirements & Skills
- Matric with a minimum N4 qualification
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills
- Basic report writing and analysis ability
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
