Overview

Fidelity ADT is seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join its Rustenburg branch. This role is ideal for a customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a busy office environment and can efficiently manage reception, administration, customer enquiries, and general office support functions.

The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients while supporting various administrative, sales, and operational activities within the branch.

Key Responsibilities

– Welcome and assist walk-in clients and direct them to the appropriate department.

– Operate the switchboard and transfer calls to relevant staff members.

– Take and relay messages accurately when staff are unavailable.

– Receive and distribute incoming correspondence and documentation.

– Order and manage office stationery, refreshments, and general office supplies.

– Obtain quotations, process purchase requests, and assist with procurement administration.

– Maintain accurate filing systems and organise company records.

– Perform daily banking and assist with finance-related administrative tasks.

– Capture and manage sales leads received through telephone calls and walk-in enquiries.

– Prepare and distribute sales activity reports.

– Assist with telesales activities and customer follow-ups.

– Support clients with queries and liaise with relevant departments to resolve issues.

– Perform additional administrative duties as required.

Requirements & Skills

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy and administrative skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
