Overview
Absolute Pets, South Africa’s leading specialist pet retailer with more than 200 stores nationwide, is looking for passionate, energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistants to join its growing team across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
– Deliver outstanding customer service to every customer.
– Assist customers with product selection and recommendations.
– Ensure shelves are fully stocked and merchandise is attractively displayed.
– Receive, unpack and replenish stock.
– Assist with stock control and inventory management.
– Perform basic administrative and point-of-sale tasks.
– Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store presentation.
– Follow company policies, procedures and operational standards.
– Work as part of a team to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous retail or sales experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Passion for retail and customer service.
- Genuine love for animals.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically able to lift, carry and pack stock.
- Reliable, trustworthy and hardworking.
- Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills.
