Overview
Catalyst Hotel is seeking two enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters to join its Food and Beverage team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences through professional, friendly, and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their dining experience.
– Prepare the restaurant for daily service, ensuring tables and dining areas are set according to company standards.
– Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure prompt service.
– Maintain excellent knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and ingredients.
– Ensure guests’ needs are attended to professionally and efficiently.
– Prepare for individual and group bookings.
– Keep waiter stations stocked with clean cutlery, napkins, and service items.
– Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining a pleasant dining experience.
– Process orders accurately and ensure correct billing.
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
– Support daily restaurant operations and perform additional duties when required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional, positive, and friendly attitude.
- Well-groomed and presentable appearance.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
