Overview
Premier Bakeries is recruiting 2 Salesman Drivers to support product distribution, customer service, and sales growth within its bakery operations. This opportunity is ideal for energetic and customer-focused individuals who enjoy driving, sales, and building strong relationships with customers.
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering bakery products on time, growing sales within their routes, collecting payments, and ensuring company assets are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver bakery products to customers accurately and on schedule.
– Ensure all deliveries are completed in full and according to customer requirements.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and retailers.
– Promote bakery products and identify opportunities to increase sales.
– Collect payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
– Manage bakery sales assets and company equipment responsibly.
– Monitor stock levels and assist with route sales growth initiatives.
– Resolve customer queries and provide excellent service.
– Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
– Achieve sales and service delivery targets.
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Valid Code 10 (C1) Driver’s Licence.
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Driver’s licence must be at least 3 years old.
- 1โ3 years’ experience in sales, retail, or customer service environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good numerical and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to build customer relationships and influence purchasing decisions.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven.
- Good people management and customer service skills.
