Overview
Transnet is looking for Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Officers to assist with site safety management and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
โข Conduct site inspections and walkabouts
โข Monitor compliance with safety policies
โข Identify workplace hazards and risks
โข Assist with incident investigations
โข Compile safety reports
โข Support implementation of SHE programmes
โข Ensure compliance with legal requirements
Minimum Requirements
โข Grade 12
โข Minimum 2 years safety experience
โข SHE Representative Certificate
โข SAMTRAC, Riskmaq 1 or MSRM
โข HIRA Training
โข Legal Liability Certificate
โข Incident Investigation Certificate
โข First Aid Level 1
โข Basic Fire Fighting
โข Computer Literacy
โข Code 08 Driver’s Licence
