Overview
Transnet is recruiting Flagmen to assist with railway safety operations and protect employees and train movements during construction and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
โข Safeguard employees and trains on track
โข Assist with maintenance of flagman equipment
โข Learn and use railway safety equipment
โข Report deviations and incidents
โข Complete daily reports
โข Maintain safe working relationships
โข Promote health and safety compliance
Minimum Requirements
โข Minimum Grade 9
โข At least 3 months relevant experience
โข Valid Flagman Certificate
โข Medically fit
โข Able to communicate in English
โข Able to work at heights and confined spaces
โข Willing to work extended hours when required
